Bollywood celebrities have shown plentiful examples of wearing ‘green colour accessories’, with any colored outfits.

“Emeralds, rubies and diamonds are recommended for any traditional outfit, especially for colors that are neutral or not at all (black and white are not called colors). And we can always take any traditional look and put emerald in it.

Navya Davy

She elaborates that all Rubies, Diamonds and including Emeralds are always preferred for traditional outfits, and it is not very specific to choose Emerald over it, as its green. But it is chosen over neutral shades, as a highlight.

“It’s not necessarily the green colour, it’s the people’s passion for easy accessibility of the emeralds that often combines it with so many outfits or accessories. And significantly, colour wheel is the basis of any colour combination’s use. All have to follow the colour wheel to check the contrasting or the combination shades”

In conclusion, as a designer she makes it a point that its the easy accessibility that people choose Emerald or ‘green’, and since its a good combination shade to pair with all.

“Green jewellery is the new red” that can be worn on any dress regardless of colour. Earlier red was more in style and on many dresses it was worn, likewise now green takes the place of red.”
